Experiences

Relive history in a land that has been home to the Metis, Cree and Dene people.  Many people have come before, all seeking to understand the traditions and culture of the North.  The people still practice the traditions of their forefathers; elders have handed down rich oral history.  All this forms the basis of our wilderness adventures.

Fort Chipewyan is Alberta's oldest settled community with over two hundred years of history, nestled on the northwestern tip of Lake Athabasca.  The people here honour historical traditions, their natural and authentic way of life, and the land and water.
