Writing on Stone National Historic Site
Writing-on-Stone / Áísínai'pi National Historic Site is a sacred landscape of special significance to the Blackfoot people. The Blackfoot have a connection with traditional culture and religion based on a long, intimate relationship with the land. Native carvings and paintings cover the cliffs, and are protected here as a living legacy, being part of Blackfoot tradition.
